Changes in the Electronic Communications Act from July 1, 2011
The Swedish Parliament has decided on a change in the law regarding electronic communications. The change means that everyone who visits a website with cookies should give their consent to the use of cookies. Change in the law is based on EU directives and took effect on 1 July 2011.

PTS, Post and Telecom Agency, has prepared information on the new cookie policies for both site visitors and managers of sites.
